Britney’s stay at the UCLA psych ward extended by two weeks
Expect a huge fight in court today over who’s in control of Britney Spears. Spears lawyers want her dad Jamie removed as conservator of her estate because she “feels hatred” towards him. No doubt Spears’ lawyers were a bit pissed after they visited their client yesterday at the UCLA psych ward and Jamie went all conservator on them and told them to leave. In other Britney news, TMZ says:
Britney Spears will be required to stay hospitalized at UCLA Medical Center for another 14 days. TMZ has confirmed the troubled mother of two needs more than the required 72-hour hold for evaluation. (Source)
2 weeks? Talk about a waste of a weekend! I spent four hours on Saturday and another three on Sunday coming up with words that rhyme with “gravy” and now I can’t use those for another two weeks? That’s the last time I do work on the weekends. Nothing but booze, lap dances, and the occasional petty theft from here on out. And church on Sundays. Can’t forget about church.
