Britney Spears Starbucks cup for sale soon?
If you always wanted to own an authentic Britney Spears Starbucks cup, keep your eyes on eBay. Some dude paid a Starbucks barista $100 for one of Britney’s discarded cups. Mike Walker of the National Enquirer has the story:
Britney Spears bounced into an L.A. Starbucks, ordered a vanilla latte, took one sip – and made a yuck-y face! “More vanilla,” she told the brewer, who quickly pumped her a new one. Satisfied, Brit threw El Barista a thumbs-up and split – but as he started to dump her discarded cup a male customer in line yelled: “Don’t throw that away–I’ll buy it!” Thinking the guy was kidding, the kid aimed for the trash bin – but stopped when the guy waved a $100 bill and said: “This is for you.” Instantly, the cup was surrendered for cash – and its elated new owner whooped in triumph as he inspected his instant collectible with “BRITNEY” marked in black and…(eBay ALERT, folks!)…a pretty pink lipstick smear. What the article fails to mention is that the same guy followed Britney into a public restroom and pleaded with her not to flush. Bids for her used toilet paper are currently fetching $27.50 a square on eBay. And really, are we surprised Britney asked for “more vanilla” in her coffee? If K-Fed is any indicator of her tastes, she likes things as “vanilla-y” as they come! Final irony: K-Fed was the barista working at Starbucks.

actually, maybe thats not such a thing to brag about considering im taking time out of my day to comment on someone doing such ridiculous as fishing out a discarded coffee cup just because Brit didnt want it. i seriously do not understand this society and the celebrity worship that comes along with it. i thaught everyone was trying to prove how bad of a person she is and has become, yet we still worship every thread she has to bear. Brit is probably the most popular person in the USA right now. its amazing the chaos that ensues when she walks out her front door, and why is that? because she does such good things for the world? because her record is a breakthrough in music? because shes a role model that we all look up to and strive to be? whatever the reason, we are consistantly putting her in the spotlight and up on a pedastal just as we do with LL and all the other celebuwhores that, had they not come from the origins they came from, would be nothing more then street trash.
I don’t think too many people put Brit on a pedestal, she does have some fans, but they are thinning out. The only reason the paps follow her around is because they want to get the first pics when Brit has another mental breakdown, like when she shaved her head and bashed up that car with her umbrella. Mental breakdown pics must sell for big bucks. No one is following Brit around because she is gorgeous and talented or an epic actress, etc………….
I don’t really know if the guy collecting the cup has anything to do with celeb worship. Hey, if it was me, I would’ve done the same, minus waving a 100 dollar bill.. that cup’ll sell for a shitload on ebay, so free money for me. Can’t lose.
well, im not talking about her fans putting her in such high regard, even though there are that will fall to their knees and kiss her feet if given the chance, im talking about all the legal outlets just being so lenient with her after so many reports of how bad of a parent she is. now, i understand that alot of it may be more exaggerated then what the reality is, but the reports are there regardless. if shes such a bad parent and does such things when they are around and still doesnt seem to care about it, throw some freakin reality at her. take away full custody, see how she reacts to that.
to be honest, i personally dont think its so much her fault that she is the way she is. once she started her downfall, just about ever media outlet was out to hurt her (shes fat, ugly, talentless, trashy, etc). imagine being in her place, your on top of the world, the number one sex symbol, everyone loves you, a couple mistakes later, and your on the top of the celebriwhore list. so now you get nothin but trash talked about you, everything you ever worked for has been flushed down the toilet, all you have left are your party friends who pretty much only care about you because of the connection with such an icon. then after you completely lose your reputation as being one of the best pop starlets ever, you have to deal with everyone saying how horrible you are and how you were so much better then, and your a trainwreck, whore, druggy, etc……oh and you have to be a good parent too. mentally, i dont think anyone could handle that. i think people need to quit being so obsessed with how pathetic she has become and instead maybe… i dunno, try to help her? or possibly just leave her be so she can at least get time by herself, away from the prying eyes of the paps, and maybe get her life together enough for her to realize she has children that need a mother. i truly feel sorry for her and the life she has had to put up with. i also feel that the celebrity worship that resides in the media (psycho paps always overcrowding these celebrities), and in places that are supposed to uphold a fair and just legal system are showing a bad example of society’s obsession with the rich and famous.
