Akon charged for kid-tossing incident

Remember when Akon threw that kid off the stage in June at his concert in Fishkill, New York? The shit finally hit the fan today. The singer is scheduled to appear in court on Monday and be arraigned on charges of endangering the welfare of a minor and second degree harassment, both misdemeanors. BBC News says:

Injured fan Abby Rosa said she had hired a lawyer over the incident. Audience members at the concert told Associated Press a spectator lobbed something at the singer and Akon asked the crowd to point out the culprit. A security guard picked out a 15-year-old and sent him up to the stage, where Akon is said to have picked him up onto his shoulders and threw him into the crowd. Abby Rosa said the boy landed on her. She told a local newspaper she was later diagnosed with a concussion.

Akon’s lawyer has said there is no basis for criminal charges. (Source)

No basis for criminal charges? To recap, Akon tossed a 15-year-old kid off a four-foot stage. Said kid landed on top of another kid giving her a concussion. Now I’m not familiar with New York law but I think you’re not really supposed to do that. But don’t take my word as gospel because I have been wrong before on matters pertaining to the law. Like my voyeurism arrest from earlier this year. Uhhh, if you don’t want me looking in your bathroom window, you shouldn’t live in a house with such a climbable tree.

I’m warning you right now–RIGHT THE FUCK NOW, do not ever–under any circumstances–attend an Akon concert. Remember the controversy surrounding the rapper earlier this year after he dry-humped a 15-year-old girl on stage at a concert in Trinidad? You’d think he’d be on his best behavior after that incident. Well you’d think wrong. Tilt your head and fast forward to the 25 second mark:

Found another video of rapper Akon raping dancing with some girls at one of his concerts (these ladies seem a bit older and more willing than that 14 year old from a few weeks ago). Universal Music is taking these Akon videos down about as fast as they can be put up so I’m sure this clip won’t be around too much longer. When Akon finally takes this “dancing” to the next level, the blood [and semen] will be on your hands Universal Music! You can’t just sweep this under the rug like that murder I committed when I was 15. Remember kiddies, try to squeeze in those Class A felonies before you hit 18.

According to my friends who know about this shit, Akon is a rapper with a bunch of hit songs like “Smack That” and “I Wanna Love You.” According to this video of Akon performing in Trinidad, HE’S A GOD DAMN SEXUAL PREDATOR. Hopefully this chick has insurance. What’s the deductible for simulated stage rape? Hopefully less than just regular stage rape. That little incident nearly cleaned me out a few years ago. Trust me when I tell you this, do not EVER sit in the first two rows at a Hilary Duff concert.
