The richest man in the world, Bill Gates, was spotted with his family at a Kelly Clarkson concert Monday night in Seattle. Todd Bishop of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer (now 56% more intelligencer!) writes:
He was there with his wife and 11-year-old daughter. We saw them buying Clarkson paraphernalia at the concert last night during the intermission following McLaughlin. They totally blended into the crowd; very unassuming. Gates looked like a regular dad waiting at the merchandise table with Melinda and daughter. He did look slightly amused with the gaggle of teens and mostly moms eagerly trying to purchase stuff. My teen noticed that their daughter was sporting a Juicy Couture handbag, lol. (Source)
Man, Bill Gates played this all wrong. Don’t get me wrong, if I was as rich as him, I’d have gone to the concert, too. But at the end of the show I would have presented Kelly with a beautiful gift basket full of candy and pastries. I might have even taken her for a night out on the town, wining and dining her at one of Seattle’s finest restaurants. On me of course. And then the next day I would have bought her production company and fired her for being fat. God I wish I had money.
