Even though she’s worth roughly a kajillion dollars and none of them were invited to her and Nick Cannon’s wedding, Mariah Carey still wants wedding gifts from her friends. An insider told the New York Post:
“Mariah’s assistant, Gina, sent out over 100 e-mails to her wealthy friends letting them know that she’s registered at Bergdorf Goodman if they want to buy her a present. It’s odd because she’s not even having a big wedding party or anything. It was assumed they’d have a big celebration when they got back, but no. They just want the gifts.” On the list are “fine china, very expensive silver stemware” and other items. (Source)
They asked for presents from people they didn’t even invite? With that kind of behavior hopefully the “other items” Mariah and Nick registered for included “taste,” “class,” and “decorum.” And what do those two need from Bergdorf Goodman anyway? With Mariah’s penchant for emotional breakdowns, it would’ve made more sense if they had registered at Pfizer . . . or Planned Parenthood.*

For a woman who has more money than most countries, I thought maybe she would set up a charitable foundation where she’s “registered” so people could buy “gifts”, like goats or bags of rice, to both honor her and help others but…oops, I forgot that Mariah isn’t human…nevermind.

I’ve heard of people sending gifts to couples when they weren’t invited to weddings but it’s usually done of their own free will. If i’m not inviting you to my wedding I’m not going to expect you to send me a present.
I THINK THAT IS DISGUSTING TO ASK FOR GIFTS. SHE SEEMS TO THINK SHE IS BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE, SEEMS TO THINK THAT SHE MATTERS TO MOST PEOPLE AND IS EXTREMELY SELFISH AND GREEDY. THERE ARE PEOPLE OUT IN AMERICA WHO HAVE TO DECIDE EVERY DAY IF THEY CAN RENEW CRITICAL MEDICINE PRESCRIPTIONS OR BUY FOOD OR IF THEY NEED TO PUT THAT MONEY IN THEIR GAS TANK JUST TO GET TO WORK. I STILL REMEMBER THE STORY YEARS AGO ABOUT HOW SHE TREATED HER SISTER WHO WAS ADDICTED TO DRUGS AND DEVELOPED AIDS. SHE TOOK HER SISTER’S SON AWAY FROM HER TO HAVE HIM LIVE WITH HER MOTHER AND BASICALLY LEFT HER SISTER TO ROT IN HELL. DRUG ADDICTION IS A DISEASE, AND FAMILY, ESPECIALLY SOMEONE IN HER POSITION, SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE TO HELP HER SISTER, NOT JUST THROUGH HER AWAY TO DIE A TRAGIC DEATH.

Mariah’s not a pig, sure she should have used it to some charitable work. She’s doing a lot of charitable work!! Save the music, that smile foundation, clean air fund, and a bunch more. I do agree however that the lovely Mariah should have used this opportunity to help others in the world, I do agree with that. But, Mariah has the best or one of the best personalities of any celebrity. She’s not Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan so you have to hate on her cause she knows how to handle herself, you guys need to grow up and quit acting like babies
