you can see, in this picture, make up and photoshopping have been carefully applied to make her appear to be an average human woman. had she gotten away with this ruse, women without access to special lighting, make-up artists, and photoshop could have taken comfort in believing that flawless beauty is a product of technology rather than something you are born with. alas, we saw through it.
