Sandra Bullock hit by drunk driver
Sandra Bullock and her husband Jesse James were hit by a drunk driver late Friday night in Gloucester, Massachusetts. The couple was headed home around 9:50 p.m. when a Subaru station wagon driven by Lucille Gatchell, 64, smashed into the front end of their car. Both were unhurt. Gloucester Police Lt.
Gerry Cook told People magazine:
“They were shaken up, needless to say But they were fine – he was hugging her. Jess and Sandra were hugging. They said they were fine, they didn’t need medical attention. There were quite a few people snapping pictures of them.”
Cook said Gatchell didn’t know who she hit, until the arresting officer told her, as he drove her to the station. “And then she started laughing, she was really giddy,” he said. (Source)
What the hell was Sandra doing out at 9:50 anyway? Aren’t you supposed to keep a low profile if you’re in the witness protection program? . . . She is in the witness protection program, right? No? Someone tell Hollywood.
NOTE: This accident could’ve been avoided had Sandra kept her car’s speed above 50 miles per hour.
